Mexico Trip - Monterrey + Mexico City

No comments:

Although I grew up in Venezuela, I didn't travel to any other South American country until last weekend. Visiting Mexico for the first time was a bit special for me. I learned that people are warm and open as in Venezuela, that services and laws aren't really respected just like in Venezuela, and that Mexicans and Venezuelans share more things in common than not.

Graduation – Thinking Back, Walking Forward

Location: AT&T Park, 24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
No comments:

It's been over six months since I took my last college's final exam, but that feeling of walking in the graduation commencement representing Venezuela and having some of my loved ones at AT&T Park in San Francisco during the ceremony was one of the nicest and proudest moment in my life. Proudest because I'm a first generation college graduate, and that means a great deal for me. It means that my family and I are making progress towards our lives, and that life is guiding us in the right path.

Los Angeles Road Trip

Location: Los Angeles, CA, USA
No comments:

What would life be without good friends? Seriously... Making a road trip by yourself is nice, but it's great when you do it with friends. Spending the weekend in LA was something different than what I usually do during weekends, but it's nice because it got me off from my routines in the city.

Snowboarding at Kirkwood

Location: Kirkwood, Lake Tahoe

I've always wanted to go snowboarding since I came to San Francisco because I used to watch a lot of extreme sports, especially the X-Games Winter edition with Shaun White winning all the time... And I finally did snowboard yesterday!

No comments:

Have you ever heard about the first 100 days rule for a leader? Did you know that it was first implemented by U.S President Franklin Roosevelt during the Great Depression? Nowadays, the first 100 days rule is a must for organizations’ top management and executives.

Lands End Trail

Location: Lands End, San Francisco, CA
No comments:

Ever since I went to Lands End Trail for the first time some years ago, it has definitely been one of my favorite places in San Francisco. It has basically everything for a relaxing day - a simple hiking trail, friendly people and doggies, and a gorgeous view throughout the entire trail.

Hong Kong – Not The Same, Still Exciting

Location: Hong Kong
No comments:

It's incredible how friends can make a place to be somewhere great and fun or not-so-good. Study abroad and my exchange year in Hong Kong was incredible due to friends, to people that I met and created the great and fun environment that once was around here. Now that I'm here again without most of you around, things have changed. Walking pass CityU Hong Kong isn't the same. Trying to meet friends for food and late night talks isn't the same. Hong Kong isn't the same. Anymore.

My Insight to Art — Reiko Muranaga

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA
No comments:
I've always been curious when it comes to careers and hobbies. And most of the times curiosity leads to fresh and interesting conversations like the one I had a couple of weeks ago when I had the opportunity to meet Reiko Muranaga, a San Francisco Traditional Oil Painter.
